The Pan Theory is an alternative to many theories in modern physics, and in cosmology, it’s a completely different alternative to the Big Bang Theory. It is also a theory that proposes a “Grand Unified Theory” aa well as a so-called “Theory of Everything.” It proposes: its own theory of Gravity, a single force theory, a single particle theory, as well as a new, presently unknown theory of Relativity.

You may never read another modern-age theory in physics, formulated in a similar manner that starts from scratch with no assumed laws of physics. This is because these related theories assert that the laws of physics, as well as energy, time, and space, that all can be defined and explained by the characteristics, relative motion, and interactions of matter and field.

I hope that you enjoy your visit to this site which contains all of the theories which collectively could be called  “a General Unified Model of Physics,”  sincerely, Forrest Noble, the author of this book and of all the theories herein.

What is the “Pan Theory”?

The Pan Theory is many decades old now. It generally proposes many changes to what we call modern physics, physics since the beginning of the 20th century. It proposes to do away with all the unintelligible explanations that you hear in this field, such as those mainstream explanations in quantum physics. The Pan Theory, on the other hand, is being proposed as a logical explanation of reality. It has its own unique equations to explain the reality that it proposes.

The Pan Theory summary: that one most elementary particle started the entire universe. By slow division, it became strings or clusters of the same, identical particle. As these elementary particles decrease in size they increase in number– from the beginning of the universe to the present time. Their combined forms, size, density, intrinsic and relative motion, position, and interactions are the sole constituents that make up all forms and states of matter, energy, fundamental forces, space, time, background fields — the entire universe.

What The Pan Theory above and its Implications within this text theoretically propose to provide answers for:

Galactic red-shifts: are not caused by an expansion of space, but by the unknown diminution of matter.

The theory explains:

How the universe started, its regeneration, and its future

A Single-Force Theory, the single force being a mechanical unwinding characteristic of matter

A Theory of Everything whereby all of physics can easily be unified

Answers to most observation anomalies and quandaries in cosmology

How galaxies originate, function, and evolve

Black holes at the center of galaxies; their all-important matter creation function and make-up

“Dark Matter” as a particle does not exist. Instead, presently unknown background field flow very accurately (new-physics mathematics) explains observation anomalies now attributed to the existence of dark matter.

The unknown mechanisms which mold the universe

New equations proposed to rectify many observation anomalies and misconceptions of cosmology.

The unknown processes of galaxies and galaxy clusters, regarding their formation, motions and aging

An unknown theory of relativity affecting the relative measurement of matter, space, and time

answers to the known but unanswered questions in cosmology

The unknown mechanisms of atomic and molecular cohesion

Presently unknown states of matter

The unknown relationship between particles and waves

The unknown mechanics and mechanisms of gravity

The unknown mechanisms of magnetism

Theories being Explained:

A complete theory of any subject must be able to generally explain all of the observed phenomena concerning that subject. Even with observational support, observational anomalies must still be explained. Even when using the best equipment and methods, interpretations are often debatable– along with occasional errors in the validity, measurements, significance, etc; but only through this ability to competently explain observation and to be able to predict new observations or phenomena can a theory gain or lose its credibility and thereby its number of advocates.

Arguably, the fundamental theories in Cosmology and Physics too often lack explanatory or predictive capability as well as a logical foundation. Thus the development of new theories was undertaken with an emphasis on their ability to be readily understood as well as provide logical explanations and better predictive capabilities. The result was two Sets of theories with the Pan Theory as their premise; one on Astronomy/Cosmology and the other on Theoretical Physics.

There are several guidelines that I’ve tried to follow in this text:

First, to describe the logic and foundation for each theory and hypothetical sub-set.

Second, to use the principle of Occam’s Razor – the simplicity principle in logic which states that the better answer, theory, or hypothesis is the one that is the least complicated, all else being equal,  of course with no guarantee that the simplest, plausible hypothesis is valid.

To provide a reasonable perspective to analyze and consider the particles and
mechanisms of physics, according to the Pan theory, that comprises and controls the universe.
In the sciences of astronomy and physics, observational information has multiplied more than ten-fold in the past thirty years, over everything that was previously known.

G.U.T.s. A Grand Unified Theory: The purpose of a Grand Unified Theory is to unify the fundamental forces of nature (particle physics), i.e.: the ‘strong atomic force’, the ‘weak atomic force’, and the electromagnetic force, and some of these theories try to include the gravitational force. These theories collectively are called Grand Unified Theories or G.U.T.s.

Grand Unified Theories (G.U.T.s.):  G.U.T.s., relate to the unification of all four of the so-called forces of nature proposed by particle physics: gravity, electromagnetism, the strong interaction, and the weak interaction. All attempts to date concerning these theories and force unification have been based upon a mathematical, theoretical physics approach to this unification. The Pan Theory is a G.U.T., but instead uses a conceptual approach, no mathematical physics is needed. If so, how could it be valid? The reason is that the Pan Theory proposes that none of these so-called forces of nature are fundamental; it proposes instead that all these forces can be explained by mechanical means.

The Pan Theory explains gravity and magnetism by a simple, physical field theory. And the strong and weak interactions are explained by way of mechanical nuclear connections. Maxwell proposed a physical aether theory to conceptually explain his equations of magnetism, and Newton proposed a mechanical, physical aether to conceptually explain his inverse square law of gravity in his second edition of Optiks. Einstein’s mathematical theory of gravity would not need to be changed in this model, just his conceptual justification for it, which he called warped space. Instead, the Pan theory proposes background-field density and flow differences to explain Einstein’s warped space proposal. This paragraph is, therefore, a summary of this conceptual Grand Unified Theory, a mechanical theory explaining, and conceptually putting together all of the so-called fundamental forces of nature.

T.O.E. Theories of Everything: The next type of theory we will consider has been called a Theory of Everything. The most well-known attempt at creating such a mathematical theory of everything was called string theory, or ‘M’ theory. The Pan Theory (PT) is also a T.O.E., but it is totally different from other T.O.E.s. The primary difference is that the Pan theory is primarily conceptual, although it has its own unique equations. Unlike string theory, but more importantly, the PT makes many dozens of testable predictions. The primary problem today concerning the formation of a T.O.E. is trying to put together General Relativity (GR), the world of the large, with Quantum Mechanics (QM), the world of the small. One is a mathematical theory of physics and the other is primarily a statistical system of probabilities. The Pan Theory proposes that mathematics derived from theoretical physics is simply a tool to quantify predictions, but is not necessarily the best tool for understanding and proposing how reality might fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. For this, a conceptual picture is needed. From this conceptual picture, the jigsaw puzzle of reality can be put together (like the picture on a jigsaw puzzle. So accordingly,  the best way to put GR and QM theories together is conceptually. Thereafter, mathematics might be derived if it could better quantify their combined predictions. This paragraph also can be considered a summary of the Pan Theory, as a T.O.E.

The word “Pan” in the Pan Theory could be whimsically considered a cooking vessel (pan/ pot) which metaphorically prepares food for the universe to exist and grow. The root word “pan” is from Greek meaning all or everything (like Pan American airlines). In this case, “pan” in The Pan Theory means both everything and the only thing. This is because the Pan Theory proposes there is just one fundamental particle of reality, which is the foundation particle of all other particles, of both field and matter. This is the source of the name Pan Theory.

Most of the theories within this text are called Ipan Theories (IP) except for the brief Pan Theory summary itself (one paragraph) and three other primary theories: The Pan Theory of Relativity, The No Priori Force Theory, and The Pan-Gravity Theory. The “I” in Ipan refers to the first letter of the adjectives which might describe the theory’s relationship to the Pan Theory. These Ipan theories are a group/ set of Inter-related theories/ hypotheses, that are mutually reinforcing. They could be described/ considered as being any one or a combination of the following related Pan Theory adjectives: Included within, Implied by, Inferred by, Interdependent part of, an Incremental-compliment to, or an Independent augmentation to The Pan Theory. The definition of an Ipan theory is simply: any theory proposed by anybody which uses the Pan Theory as a premise.

The Pan Theory is an alternative to many of today’s fundamental theories and concepts in Cosmology and Physics. The Ipan theories contained herein, on the other hand, can be considered the currently-favored supporting hypothesis of the Pan Theory, but not the only possible explanations that could be consistent with the Pan Theory. The Ipan theories can change and add refinement with new observations and analyses, but the Pan Theory cannot change its primary Propositions and remain the same theory.

The ‘I’ in Ipan theory could be described/ considered as being any one or a combination of the following related Pan Theory adjectives starting with an ‘I’: Included within, Implied by, Inferred by, Interdependent part of, an Incremental-compliment to, or an Independent augmentation to The Pan Theory. The definition of an Ipan theory is simply: any hypothesis proposed by anybody which uses the Pan Theory as a premise for its support.

The Pan Theory and the associated Pan Theory of Relativity are a direct challenge to many of today’s fundamental theories and concepts in Cosmology and Physics. The Ipan theories contained herein, on the other hand, can be considered the currently-favored Ipan theories, but not the only possible explanations that could be consistent with the Pan Theory. The Ipan theories will necessarily change and add refinement with new observations and analyses, but the Pan Theory cannot change its primary Propositions and remain the same theory.

Generally, whenever Pan or Ipan theory is expressed throughout this text the abbreviation has been used: ‘APT’ (According to the Pan and related Ipan theories). I’ve been criticized by editors for including APT too often in the Pan Theory text, but when I’ve left it out, some readers have complained that it is not clear if the theory is conventional, The Pan or an Ipan Theories (IP). For this version, I’ve left in most of the APT’s of the book text of this website, so hopefully, there will be no related misunderstandings. If there is any question as to whether a theory you are reading is Pan, Ipan theory or another theory (because I may have inadvertently left it out) refer to a textbook/ a search engine, etc. for conventional or alternative theories. Although others have provided editorial comments resulting in my making many changes over time for clarity, and to update once in a while, this text may still have non-theory errors, in some cases because of, rather than oversight of editing.

The Pan Theory can be classified as a TOE, and the theory’s concepts are used to derive its equations rather than visa-versa. The Pan and Ipan theories/hypotheses might also be categorized in all of these other categories: as a Singularity theory, as single innate force theory, a No-Force-Field Theory, a Grand Unified Theory, a new theory of Relativity, or a theory of the “ATOMOS,” the most fundamental particle first proposed by Leucippus, and later theorized by Democritus of ancient Greece.
